(A) Accustomed customs of Convenience

“Deep in the human conscious is a pervasive need

for a logical universe that makes sense.

But the real universe is always one step beyond logic”

(A) Accustomed customs of Convenience

It sounds weird and wacky when somebody comes and tells you it is unlucky n inauspicious…….

“When a cat crosses the road before you”

“When some one knocks your door early in the morning”

“Looking into the broken mirror brings hard luck”

“Dreaming a horse brings bad time”

Doing this in a right direction is ………………………..

Doing that in this format is …………………………….

Blah………….Blah……………… Blah……….

Is this the concept of superstition real / fictious or it’s just an illusionary world created by the human psyche.

Is it compulsory to follow these set of norms in today’s scientifically acclaimed country.

Does any young individual like to believe or follow the stigma of superstition, Of course not? But are gradually forced & molded by the society to believe and adapt all the unnecessary notions which later develops into a behavioural pattern.

Why are we discussing about this topic????

May be, because I myself am accustomed and have adapted it just to be at the safest side to lead a respectable life proving myself to be a part of the society.

Thinking in a the contradictory part “ Doesn’t a CAT have the right to cross the road, whatS wrong if someone knocks the door early in the morning, what if , if looked at the broken mirror “ .

Why does human psychic relate to such an illogical, irrelevant things in this world?

Does this actually reflect in our personalities, lifestyle or hamper one growth?

Does this practice of superstition really prove all the learned people semi-barbaric ?

In my opinion to eradicate such practice one has to get involved in the PRACTICE OF UNDERSTANDING OF SUCH SUPERSTITION AND GET RID OF IT FROM ITS ROOT...

Really interesting...! but can u define superstitions? or can it wud be possible to draw a boundary line between religion n superstition?
According to Merriam Webstar dictionary superstition is "a notion maintained despite evidence to the contrary".
soo ..is there any evidence of God? n what about every days religious rituals. dont u say that they r just a superstitious practice doing by some learned or semi-barbaric ppl.
Then definitely u (me also) occasionally participate in superstitious thinking n behavior even without realizing that we r doin it.
So to eradicate superstition someone need to define it in a rational way… don’t u think so?

Anything which is related to faith can it be called superstition is obviously my question???? Faith is all abt ur belive ur power and ur acceptance to the fact that power resides in u and outside too what makes superstition different from faith(as sumbody mentioned the religious rituals).
